Kelona Hills Farm has been a dream in the making for a long time. We finally established our roots at the very beginning of 2021. Centrally located in Powhatan County, VA, along the James River, we are only a bridge away from Goochland County and generally close to all other neighboring counties. Philip is a native to Powhatan while his wife, Meghan, was born and raised in Goochland.
We both individually dreamed of raising cattle since before we even knew one another. Once we knew we were in this life together for the long haul, we began to grow the dream together as something that we pray our children, our children's children, and the generations to follow will be able to continue growing. We're here to build our legacy and feed your family while doing so.
Philip grew up on the land where we raise our cattle. Son of a former dairy farmer and brother to a crop farmer, the desire to put down farming roots is in his blood. Since his days of feeding calves, he has always been drawn to life as a livestock farmer.
Meghan grew up in a small town neighborhood, and as the saying goes, "I didn't grow up on a farm, but I got here as fast as I could." She has always dreamed of living the farm life, praying for the day where she could be involved in raising her own animals, and boy, did God answer those prayers. A dream turned reality, and proof that dreams really can come true.
Our three farm babies know nothing else other than growing up on the same farm as their daddy did, and we are so thankful that they are able to be exposed to the simplicities of this type of life. They fully embrace the farm life and have big servant hearts when it comes to lending a hand and being a part of what makes Kelona HIlls Farm successful. God surely has blessed us.
